Clinical Psychology/Psychotherapy |
|
Clinical psychology is a diverse field. For the ease of presenting the material from this diverse field on this website, I am defining it in terms of psychotherapy. Psychotherapy, itself, is difficult to define with precision. The most simple definition I could find comes from Rychlak’s Personality and Psychotherapy: “Psychotherapy is an interpersonal relationship involving two or more people in which the motives of the participants touch on scholarly, ethical, and curative issues.” Clinical Psychology/Psychotherapy falls into the following broad categories (follow the links to learn more about each): |
